Veteran Owned BrightStar Care Helps Veterans With Home Health Services

Veterans’ Day honors all men and women that have served as military veterans in the United States Armed Forces.

BrightStar Care fulfills the local Southern Arizona VA Hospital home health mission as one of its home health contracted providers. BrightStar Care is currently on its second five-year contract. It provides veterans up to fourteen hours per week of Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide Activities of Daily Living (ADL) assistance.

“ADLs include bathing, dressing, incontinence care, walking and transferring assistance,” said Nock. “We also provide HHAs for respite, which is six hours per day up to thirty hours a year. Along with ADL assistance, BrightStar provides all levels of therapy (physical, speech and occupational) to include skilled nursing to our veteran home healthcare clients. We help hundreds of veterans remain safely at home while providing ADL assistance with amazing skilled HHAs, along with nursing and therapies.”
