The Avidcare Monitor

The Avid Care Monitor is small and lightweight--about the size of two paperback books stacked together. Powered by an AC adapter, it can also operate up to 48 hours on its internal rechargeable batteries. This permits it to be moved from room to room, taken to work, or even carried on vacation. The only other connection required is a standard phone connection.

The Monitor is currently approved for use in testing blood pressure, pulse-oximetry, and weight.
The four-button interface is easy to use. When it is time for a test, the Monitor beeps to alert the patient. Step-by-step instructions are shown on a backlit LCD screen to lead the patient through the procedure. After the test is over an internal modem transmits the results to the AvidCare Telemanagement center--a process that takes only about a minute.

All the internal modules, like the pulse-oximeter and the blood-pressure unit, are high-quality clinical grade devices for unparalleled accuracy.
