Special Needs III
Our experienced staff can help you and your customer decide which stroller is best suited for their size and needs. However, we highly recommend that they have their doctor or physical therapist evaluate the child or adult in his or her Special Needs stroller. If for any reason, it is not suitable or is not what they had in mind, then of course our ironclad satisfaction guaranteed policy means that they can get a full refund (less freight).
Currently, our Baby Jogger II will carry a child from 6 weeks to 4 years, and the Special Needs III Junior will accommodate a child from 3 years to 7 years, depending on their size and weight. For larger children, the Special Needs III, available in 16" or 20" wheels, will transport up to teenage size and is wide enough to accept most inserts. If the person's height exceeds 53 1/2" (or 51 3/4" for the Special Needs III Junior), modifications are recommended. Please refer to the measurement chart below. For children with special positioning needs, we can work with your therapist to match our frames with the seating system of your choice. If our stroller is not large enough, in most cases we can alter it to make it larger by adding a footwell or highback modification.
