The Puritan-Bennett Achieva is a portable volume ventilator with pressure support that offers versatility that makes it practical for children and adults in multiple care settings. The ventilator is light and compact, and features pressure support for patient comfort and for weaning patients from ventilators to breathe on their own, as well as exceptional battery life for extended mobility. Additionally, the ventilator also offers a simple design and logical, user-friendly controls; volume and pressure-limited ventilation; flow and pressure triggering to match patient breathing efforts, allowing for easier breathing and greater patient comfort; internal dial-in positive end - expiratory pressure (PEEP) for convenient ventilator operation; internal oxygen blending for convenient and accurate delivery of 21-100% fraction of inspired oxygen (FiO2); and internal memory and modem for accessing stored data, which provides for more efficient management of patient outcomes.
