Misys Healthcare Systems Unveils New Version Of Misys Homecare™
Raleigh, NC - Misys Healthcare Systems, believed to be a market leader in healthcare IT, will unveil its new version of Misys Homecare™ at this week's National Association for Home Care and Hospice (NAHC) Annual Meeting. A proven, easy-to-use home care IT solution, Misys Homecare is believed to integrate clinical, financial and administrative capabilities, addressing the growing challenges of home health, hospice and private duty agencies.
Misys Homecare will be on display from October 15 to 18 during the 25th Annual Meeting of NAHC in Baltimore, MD. Misys will be showing the product in Booth #904.
According to Misys, the new version of Misys Homecare expands its overall ease-of-use while focusing on clinical and business workflow enhancements. Including such features as clinical monitoring, online eligibility and a provider sanction list, Misys Homecare contains content specific to home health, hospice and private duty organizations. According to Misys:
- The clinical monitoring window provides clinicians with a combined view of patient assessment data and imported telemedicine data. This feature allows agencies to easily compare assessments and trend data.
- Online eligibility provides a fast, easy way to verify patient insurance by offering real-time patient insurance information including effective dates, benefit caps and co-payments.
- The new provider sanction list uses up-to-date physician information to verify a referring physician's active license.
According to Misys, the new release also introduces My Day™, a new, customizable point-of-care dashboard that addresses the constantly shifting challenges of home care clinicians. A customizable tablet (or laptop) desktop display, My Day™ removes navigation requirements and distills the workflow and clinical information onto one screen providing immediate access to all work and patient-related data.
Misys says that they have also enhanced the Misys Homecare Executive Dashboard, a personalized, Web-based portal allowing home care organizations access to a library of reports. New, innovative Pay-for-Performance (P4P) reporting tools have been added to best prepare home health agencies for P4P reimbursements.
