Medtrade 2000: S6 CPAP Series

The three models of ResMed's new S6 CPAP Series offer a range of features to increase patient compliance and comfort. Noise absorption technology ensures a peaceful night's rest for both patients and their partners. Each device includes a delay timer that allows patients to delay treatment pressure for 5, 10, or 20 minutes. Built-in controls allow clinicians to deactivate individual ramp times to ensure the best therapy. Patient parameters can be set using buttons on the front panel, reducing set-up time. In addition, each model has an international power supply so it can be used anywhere in the world without special adjustment.

The ResMed S6 Elite model automatically compensates for mask leak and altitude changes. This unit also records up to 200 nights of time and date-stamped usage data, including mask-off events. Download the information locally or remotely using ResMed's Autoscan compliance software.

ResMed's Ultra Mirage Mask is the newest addition to the popular Mirage Mask family. The mask's lightweight, contoured cushion is shaped around the nose so only the soft, silicone membrane touches the sensitive nose bridge. It comes fully assembled with headgear, cushion, and frame. Several features contribute to patient comfort and reduced fitting time. The forehead support can be adjusted using only one hand. Release clips detach the headgear from the mask so no further fitting is required once the straps are adjusted. Additionally, the Ultra Mirage Mask's Quick Release Swivel disconnects the mask from the air tubing. The air vent is built into the rotating mask elbow, minimizing flow intensity and reducing noise.
