The Uplift Commode Assist is an automatic lifting seat that is self-powered and allows users to raise themselves from the commode. It provides controlled support and lifts up to 80% of the user's weight. Additionally, the product relieves stress and strain on joints, and it lifts only as needed, allowing users to maintain muscular strength. The product attaches to the frame of the standard bedside commode and is portable. The lifting action is provided by a hydro-pneumatic piston that releases when the user shifts their weight forward to stand.
