The LifeStand Compact is a fully motorized chair, which allows a person to move from a seated-to-standing position with power assistance
The LifeStand Compact is a fully motorized chair, which allows a person to move from a seated-to-standing position with power assistance. The individual can also drive the unit and move about freely whether seated or standing. This restoration of mobility greatly enhances the individual's quality of life.

The LifeStand Compact uses two independent sets of electronics to perform these functions. The power assisted unit, which is designed into the frame, electronically assists the individual to move from a seated-to-standing position. With the touch of a button, this is easily accomplished. The E-Fix Power Driver, which provides mobility, is an innovative product. A quick-release wheel hub drive, notable for its high efficiency, regenerates energy back into the battery every time the brake is used. This provides for a very small battery pack. The control unit, which controls all of the Compact's electronics, has a LCD display for easy programming including pre-selected speed rate and battery level. No external programmer is required. Individuals are free to explore their own comfort level while driving. A remote swing away joystick allows for easier access to tables, desks and countertops. Joystick may be mounted on either side of the chair for operation by individual or on back of chair for operation by an attendant.
