Innovative Products & Procedures
Imagyn offers unique products which enhance medical practice in key market segments including general surgery, gynecology, urology, breast care and thoracic surgery.

Focusing on developing innovative and cost-effective surgical procedures, we offer an extensive line of laparoscopic instrumentation. Some of the procedures pioneered by Imagyn include microlaparoscopic cholecystectomy, microlaparoscopic hysterectomy, tubal sterilization and diagnostic laparoscopy. Our complete line of equipment for minimally invasive surgery includes the MicroLap® Gold 2mm laparoscope, DetachaPort® and DetachaTipTM Multi-Use Resposable (MUR) trocars and hand instrumentation, our unique Articulator 35 PlusTM endoscopic cutter/stapler, PivotalTM scissors, and a variety of specialty instruments, designed to aid in minimally invasive surgical procedures.

One of our newest products, SiteSelect®, a stereotactic breast biopsy system, is designed to make breast biopsy easier for both patients and physicians. Additionally, Imagyn has committed to focusing our efforts on prostate cancer and offers the IsoSTARTM implantable radiation brachytherapy seeds. Brachytherapy offers health care providers a less traumatic option for treatment of prostate cancer.

Extensive Sales / Distribution
Imagyn utilizes a combination of a direct sales force and a network of distributors to market and sell our products worldwide. This distribution channel is complemented by focused product sales specialists, telemarketing and national accounts teams.

Quality Manufacturing
Imagyn manufacturing operations are conducted primarily at its facilities in Costa Mesa, California and Richland, Michigan. We manufacture and distribute Class I, II, and III medical devices, following current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) guidelines. We employ manufacturing techniques designed to streamline production, lower costs, and ensure high quality. Our Costa Mesa facility houses injection-molding operations in addition to optics and electronic product assembly. Our Richland facility is devoted to manufacturing hand-held surgical instruments, both disposable and Multi-Use Resposable (MUR).
