Hypodermic Needle Protection Device

Cartridge Needle-Pro devices are sterile units that combine a hypodermic cartridge needle with a needle protection device. These devices are designed for all applications including drawing medications and administering injections, and they offer one-handed operation and are OSHA compliant.

The luer protective cap is color-coded indicating the needle size. The devices are available with needle sizes ranging from 18 gauge by 1.5-in to 25 gauge by 5/8-in. The device also allows clinicians to cover needles at bedside after an injection, in order to reduce the potential for needlestick injury that may occur when disposing of contaminated needles.
