The Chairman Corpus is a front-wheel drive power wheelchair that allows for easy negotiation of obstacles outdoors as well as maneuverability indoors. The chair was designed to accommodate a number of power functions, including an 8-in seat elevator, 180° recline with shear reduction, 30° or 45° tilt, and elevating leg rests.
Additionally, the chair offers a speed dial on the control panel that allows for control over the speed of the chair. It is equipped with programmable electronics which allow adjustment of acceleration, deceleration, turning acceleration, turning deceleration, forward speed, reverse speed, and turning to suit the user's ability. A remote swing-away joystick comes with the chair, as well as tie-down hardware for strap systems.
