FASTRACK Releases Capitation Module

FASTRACK announced today the availability of release 1.22 of their Windows SQL Enterprise System for Home Medical Equipment (HME) and Infusion/Pharmacy Providers.

According to Spencer Kay, President of FASTRACK Healthcare Systems, "the most significant new feature is the ability to manage an unlimited number of Capitation plans." The module can track and bill for products not included under the plan, produce reports by payer showing those items that are covered or not covered, and maintain an on-going cost against the contract. The module offers the ability to bill the carrier and create a receivable for the capitation plan.

The FASTRACK Enterprise System is Windows NT/2000 based utilizing the Microsoft SQL database, with support for Citrix Metaframe, Crystal Report Writer, and Cognos Data Mining tools. The software is available in a standalone version for HME or Infusion providers, or fully integrated, sharing one common database.

Other enhancements added in this release include the ability to scan lot numbers at the point of care in addition to the serial and product numbers, eliminating the order confirmation process found in most software systems, and new Point of Sale features for it' s retail HME module.
