Datalytics SaaS Healthcare Solution Now Powered By Analyzer From Strategy Companion

IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Strategy Companion Corporation, a leading provider of intuitive, easy-to-use Business Intelligence (BI) software for the SQL Server platform, today announced that Datalytics has incorporated the company's Analyzer™ BI solution into the Datalytics healthcare management Software as a Service (SaaS) offering.

Datalytics offers a standardized, hosted business intelligence solution that includes a data warehouse, healthcare data model, data integration, and a reporting and analytical data access tool. Datalytics' BI solution, including Analyzer, allows healthcare organizations to focus on their core competency — helping patients. Datalytics healthcare clients no longer have to spend time or find technical resources to manage data and create reports. Analyzer's easy-to-use interface requires very little training, allowing even those who are non-technical to build reports and explore data, leading to better and faster business decisions.

"I have clients who used to run large reports and then export the data into Excel. These were high-level executives spending 8-16 hours a week on reporting!" says Eric Odom, Co-Founder of Datalytics. "Now, with Analyzer, they create just the view they need, when they need it."

One of home healthcare's biggest concerns is managing costs, including hourly costs of visiting nurses, travel costs, and supplies. Analyzer makes it easy to create reports showing cost per visit or by skill set, simply by dragging and dropping these elements onto the page. Users have access to several charts and graphs, and can quickly drill-down or change views to explore data further. Analyzer's dashboard and scorecard capabilities let home healthcare organizations quickly identify trends requiring action.

Datalytics quickly realized they could not keep up with their client demands for enhancements to their custom-built reporting tool and found Analyzer to be a perfect replacement. Combining Analyzer with their already best-in-class data warehouse allows them to confidently and aggressively grow their client base.

"We have a goal to be at 100 agencies by mid-2009, and we are very confident Analyzer can grow with us," says Odom.

Strategy Companion's SaaS licensing model allows companies like Datalytics to offer Analyzer to their own customers or to add it to an existing offering as an OEM. One of Datalytics' clients has even opened access to its investors.
