The Chairman Miniflex is a front-wheel drive power wheelchair for children that combines powerful motors and electronics to allow a child to negotiate obstacles outdoors while providing maneuverability indoors. The chair has a low center of gravity, allowing for stability. It is designed to accommodate a number of functions, including 45° tilt and an 8-in seat elevator.
The chair's seat frame accommodates a variety of linear seating systems, and it can be fitted with adult seating as the child grows. The wheelchair contains a speed dial on the control panel, allowing the user control over the speed of the chair. It is also equipped with programmable electronics that allow adjustment of acceleration, turning deceleration, forward speed, reverse speed, and turning to suit the child's driving ability. A remote swing-away joystick comes standard with the product. The chair can also be driven with a center mount joystick, chin control, head control, or sip and puff control sistem.
