Who: CareFore Medical, Inc., is a developer, manufacturer and distributor of respiratory supplies to the home healthcare and hospital markets worldwide. The products offered include: oxygen therapy, monitoring, medication and aerosol therapy, tracheostomy care, suction therapy, ventilator accessories, anesthesia accessories, respiratory and anesthesia filters, nasal CPAP, oxygen concentrator accessories, pulmonary therapy and nursing supplies.

Sean C. Squire founded the company in 1995. L. Robert Mogue recently joined CareFore. Mogue was formerly Director of Sales and Marketing for CHAD® Therapeutics, Inc. Squire and Mogue worked together at Puritan-Bennett Corporation from 1989-1995 in various sales, marketing and product management capacities.

What: In October of 2000, they broke ground on a new 10,000 square foot office and warehouse facility in Olathe, Kansas. They expect to occupy the new facility in the Spring of 2001.

Why: The Company is currently located at 10670 Widmer Road, Lenexa, Kansas, 66215. From this office and warehouse they serve the worldwide market with customers in over 45 countries. This facility has become too small to meet the growing company's needs.

The company's growth is due to its recognition that the respiratory supplies market was under-served. Competition consisted primarily of large companies concentrating their resources more on the development of major units (capital equipment) than on the supplies necessary to satisfy or support the market. CareFore Medical positioned itself be a full-service provider of accessories and supplies needed by the respiratory patient, and the demand for its services is growing.
