Anatomical Concepts, Inc. is the manufacturer of the PRAFO® family of orthoses. This family consists of the PRAFO®, the all new PRAFO® APU (ADJUSTABLE POSTERIOR UPRIGHT), PRAFO® PKA (PRAFO® KAFO ATTACHMENT), PRAFO® EV (VARUS, VALGUS ACCOMMODATING UPRIGHT) and PRAFO® CUSTOM MADE. All of these are available in pediatric sizes. These orthoses are made with a single, metal posterior upright, which is infinitely adjustable assuring a true custom fit. These devices were purposely designed to be used on the ambulatory as well as the recumbent patient population. The PRAFO® can offset equinus, provide dorsiflexion assist, and help provide for safe, functional ambulation and serve as a suitable gait training orthosis for your patient.
