Alacare Home Health Services, Inc.'s mission is to provide quality professional and paraprofessional home health care and hospice services to the citizens of Alabama on a part-time or intermittent basis under nondiscriminatory policies. Alacare's primary services consist of skilled nursing care, home care aides, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech language therapy, and medical social services. Alacare's primary services are supported by such necessary ancillary services as specialty nursing, pharmacy, pulmonary services, and nutritional counseling, and volunteers.

Alacare's primary patients are homebound geriatric patients whose care is provided in compliance with the orders from their attending physicians. Alacare's goal is to meet a broad range of patient care needs through innovative, interdisciplinary clinical programs that employ technologically advanced forms of home care.
