Procura, one of the largest global providers of cloud and site-based software solutions focused on post-acute patient care, has acquired Indura Software, Inc., the developer and owner of the popular Igea home health care software solution.

Boca Raton, FL and San Rafael, CA (PRWEB) - Procura, one of the largest global providers of cloud and site-based software solutions focused on post-acute patient care, has acquired Indura Software, Inc., the developer and owner of the popular Igea home health care software solution.

The Igea system was launched in 2003, offering world class, cloud-based healthcare solutions with powerful clinical forms, integrated software solutions, and embedded Medicare service management capabilities.

Established in 1989, Procura began providing in-house home care solutions, increasing its market share over the next 25 years through a combination of organic growth and strategic acquisitions, including the earlier purchases of Progresa and ContinuLink. “With the follow-on addition of PeoplePoint in 2013 and Igea today, Procura has quickly become a software vendor of choice for home, community and aged care organization throughout North America and Australia,” according to Mr. Scott Overhill, Procura’s CEO and CTO.

“As proven by our extensive market penetration with over 30,000 satisfied users, we firmly believe that we now have the richest integrated product offering in our market space, one that enables our customers to have a seamless experience across the full continuum of aged care services. Our talented and focused management team combined with our exceptional investment partner will allow us to continue to rapidly expand our “acquire market share, develop customer share” business philosophy,” concluded Mr. Overhill, while noting that consolidation is coming for both the home care and hospice agency space “where we will lead the charge.”

Procura’s investment and acquisition strategy is to find great companies that exemplify what is identified as the three “Pillars of Success.”

  1. Identifying companies and solutions that promote a “Customer First” mindset, where the customer’s experience is deeply ingrained in the culture of the targeted company.
  2. Focusing on energetic and dynamic companies that are led by dedicated management teams who instill success throughout the organization, enabling all employees to become exceptional contributors.
  3. Finding companies with employees, solutions and programs that are highly agile and adaptable, so as to be in a position to help guide customers through the ever-changing home care market.

“During my first conversation with Scott Overhill, I realized the foundation of our two companies were very complimentary to one another,” Pablo Buki, founder and CEO of Indura Software. “At Indura, we have engineered a great solution and have some of the best customer focused employees in the industry, so the three pillars of success are very much aligned with my own thoughts and go forward vision.”

With the addition of Igea to Procura’s already impressive portfolio of home care software solutions, Procura can now provide the breadth of software solutions, including SaaS offerings, and services that are necessary to meet all current customer requirements while retaining customers throughout their business life-cycle, from very small start-ups to multi-site locations, including franchise organizations, who are located in the United States, Canada and Australia.

“I could not be more excited to add Igea to our existing U.S. product solution offering,” says Brad Caldwell, EVP of Sales. “When we engage companies, we can provide additional support to their current infrastructure to improve on the customer experience. In fact, during the past three years, we have watched Igea achieve significant growth by listening to the voice of the customer and taking that feedback as part of their product road map. Once again, Igea provides Procura with additional synergies and opportunities, supporting our world class ‘Guide and Share’ programs.”

The Igea teams in California and Florida will remain in place, and will be supported by the larger Procura team, thereby increasing the opportunities to provide exceptional customer experiences. Mr. Buki will be staying on at Indura as Igea’s Chief Strategy Officer.
